Dr. Cynthia Evans is a Louisiana native who has proudly called Chattanooga home since 2008. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education and a Master’s degree in Supervision and Curriculum from Louisiana State University in Shreveport. She later earned her Doctor of Education degree, completing research focused on teacher retention, leadership, and workplace culture in early childhood education. With more than 20 years of experience in education, Dr. Evans has served as a classroom teacher, literacy leader, reading interventionist, early childhood consultant, and educational leader. She is the founder and director of Champion Christian Learning Academy, where she is committed to providing children with a safe, nurturing, faith-based environment that supports academic, social, emotional, and spiritual growth. Dr. Evans believes that learning can happen during every experience. Her mission is to ensure that children are not only prepared for future academic success but also have fun, feel valued, and learn something meaningful each day. Dr. Evans has been married to her husband, Shon Evans Sr., since 2008. Together, they are the proud parents of four children: Bayleigh Kamille, Rhyan Olivia, Shon Chase, and Jaxson Cole.
